Although I believe Ian's story, I don't believe in curses at all. After all, witches are extinct in the pack. The disappearance of magic means that everything associated with it has become a bubble! Maybe the curse is just a psychological suggestion!
"What do you want to say?" Ian looked at me curiously. "You don't seem to believe what I just said, do you?"
"No, I'm just thinking. Maybe it's just some woman's crazy talk because there's no basis for it." I took a breath. "I'm trying to say that maybe the curse doesn't exist!"
