As much as she didn’t want to talk directly to the police, after Cade was interrogated a second time, Fiona decided that they were going to have to try to take a more hands-on approach if they wanted to ensure that Cade was deemed innocent.
Sarah Beth was all in for it. She joked about having always wanted to be part of a sting operation and have the inside scoop on criminal activities.
Fiona and SB walked into the police station and almost every head in there turned to look at them. Either it was their fierce feminine energy or it was the fact that they came in completely unannounced.
“Do you have your story figured out?” SB asked.
Fiona smiled and poured a bit of her authority potion into her gloved hands. This wasn’t one she liked to use often because it felt unethical and the effects wore off quickly, but they were desperate.
