Chapter 14 - Chapter 14

"So I want to know your plan, why did you accept the match yesterday," Amel said.

"As soon as I arrive, don't immediately ask like that," Teo replied.

"Oh okay," Amelia.

"Looks like our meeting yesterday wasn't good," Teo said.

"So?" Amel asked indifferently.

"Know the name of the cave Teodhor Danuarta." Teo said while reaching out for a handshake.

"Okay, I'm Amelia Melinia, the youngest of two siblings, nice to meet you," Amel answered softly.

Looks like he's not as bad as Teo thought, the proof is that he can be gentle.

"So what do you want to tell me, huh?" Amel asked in a slightly high tone.

Sip, I'll take back what I just said, Teo said to himself.

"Okay, let's just go straight so we don't waste time, so why did I accept yesterday's matchmaking because there's a reason," obviously Teo was serious.

"What's your excuse?" Amel asked.

"For now I can't tell you all the reasons," obviously Theo.

"Let's go first, are you seriously single?" Amel asked again.

"Yes,"

"Huh really?" Amel said as if he couldn't believe that Teo was single.

"That's right, what's wrong?" asked Theo in surprise.

"You're handsome, well established ideal body posture like a model but still single?" Amel said seriously.

"Ohhh or don't-" Amel's words stopped for a moment.

teo just wrinkled his forehead not understanding.

"You're GAY?" Amel shouted.

"Hey watch your mouth!" Teo replied that he did not accept.

"Just admit it, I understand why you accepted the match yesterday so your parents wouldn't be suspicious, right?" Amelia said while shaking her head.

Teo panicked because Amel's voice was a bit loud. "Heh! Shut your mouth, don't be silly," Teo said annoyed.

"Why have you explained the reason why you accepted the match yesterday, because you are gay and that can cover up your status, right?" Guess Amel.

"It's not that, you're just being silly!" Teo was really annoyed.

"Hey, I just admit that there are handsome guys, well-established sexy bodies but still single if that's not the reason, right!" Amel was confident as if he had succeeded in taking revenge during yesterday's meeting.

Teo is overwhelmed by Amel's words which are increasingly cornering him, he must immediately turn the situation around.

"So you admit that I'm handsome and have a sexy body?" Teo asked teasingly.

Instantly Amel choked on the water he was drinking.

'Ohok ohok!'

"Don't worry about it ..." Amel said.

"You said I was handsome earlier? Mapan has a sexy body," Teo repeated with a faint smile.

Amel was just silent, he was surprised to see Teo's behavior suddenly changed, "Or did you really like it from the start because I accepted the matchmaking here?" asked Theo with a smile.

"Don't just say it, I'll be flushing your face for a long time," Amel replied threateningly.

Amel has started to be provoked by Teo's words just now.

"Just say it, don't be shy, after all, you and me will get married and share a room," Teo said teasing Amel even more.

Amelia's face reddened, "W-Who wants to marry you? Don't be so arrogant, bastard!" Amel cursed embarrassed.

Hahaha Teo really turned things around now, "Okay, don't delay anymore," said Teo.

"You're the one who took the time!" Said Amel annoyed.

After all, wasn't he the one who cornered Teo in the first place with his words? Why is he even angry now? It's strange, but Teo doesn't care about Amel's words, the most important thing is that he tells the plan so that there will be no mistakes in the future.

"So the reason I accepted the conditional arranged marriage was so that we wouldn't have a match," Teo said.

"Huh, what do you mean? He said he accepted an arranged marriage, but not to be matched," asked Amel in surprise.

"You know the conditions that I proposed yesterday?" Ask Theo.

"You know, you asked for time to build a chamistery with me, right?" Amel asked back.

"Yep that's the point," replied Teo.

"Huh, how come you don't know me?" Asked Amel who was getting confused.

"I accept the matchmaking on the condition that we build a chamistery with you so we don't have a match, later in the middle I will cancel the matchmaking," Teo said.

"You said you promised that no matter what the outcome was, you would still marry me?" Amel said.

"Gini-" Teo said seriously as he straightened his seat.

"I like someone and later I will propose to that person," explained Teo.

"Oh, I understand yesterday that you accepted an arranged marriage so it wouldn't be complicated, right? And you're going to marry the person you like?" Amel asked.

"Yeah," Theo said simply.

"Then what's the advantage for me?" Amel asked.

"The advantage is that you won't be cut off from your family card and you will still get monthly money from Aunt Fania." Obviously Theo.

"But will you have a bad name in my family?"

"It's okay, I think they will understand, especially Aunt Fania, my mother's close friend," Teo replied.

Indeed, this is not a good idea because later someone will be hurt. But how else can Teo still love Val, isn't something forced to be bad?

"So we pretend this until you propose to a girl?" Amel asked.

"Yeah, so we pretended to be running this relationship so they wouldn't be suspicious," answered Teo.

Actually, Teo wasn't sure that he would propose to Val because their relationship was still unclear.

"Okay then I agree," Amel said.

Uh? Teo thought it would be difficult but it was easy for Amel to agree.

"But there are some conditions that you must fulfill," Amel said.

"What?" Ask Theo.

"You and me are matched, this means you also have to pretend to be my partner," Amelia replied.

"Why should I follow your suggestion?" Asked Teo did not accept.

"Well, I'll just tell you if you're actually gay, maybe your parents will believe it because their 27-year-old child is single," Amel said threateningly.

Damn this one child is usually threatening. It's not that Teo is afraid of it but he is more afraid of seeing his mother's reaction and Amel's reasoning can make sense.

"Yes, yes, I will, but remember this is just pretending," Teo replied affirmatively.

"Well as the first step for dinner this time you pay, honey," Amel said smiling while eating the food in front of him.

Teo just kept quiet and ignored Amel's words. Half an hour passed, the meeting was finally over.

"Hey where are you going?" Amel asked.

"I want to go home," Teo replied.

"Take me home!" Amel said firmly as he got into Teo's car.

"What are you doing? Go use your own car," said Teo, driving away.

"I don't have a car," Amel replied nonchalantly.

"Well, you just take a taxi online there, I want to go back home tired," said Theo.

Amel looked at Teo. "Remember the agreement, after all, if you take me with you, will you automatically meet my parents, and that's a good step for your plan, right?" Amel said.

It is also true that Amel's words are a good step to build a foundation of trust so that their parents do not suspect anything.

Finally, Teo relented and chose to take Amel to his house. The two of them didn't talk along the way, they just stared at each other in silence.

"You just graduated?" Teo asked breaking the silence.

"Yes," replied Amel nonchalantly while playing with his cellphone.

"Oh what major?" Ask Theo.

"Design department," replied Amel.

"Oh I thought you were majoring in animal language," Teo said.

"What did you say!"
