"Proxy?" Veronica's eyes widened.
"Exactly. A ruler of authority and saint will possess a special ability, which is to appoint proxies," Aiden explained. "A ruler can designate multiple proxies, allowing them to use three weakened powers of authority, but the proxies must maintain the Divine Power they have obtained through rituals. A saint, on the other hand, can only appoint one proxy, who will be endowed with one of the saint's blessing abilities."
The power granted by saints was not strong, but it was not without meaning. The enemy probably didn't know much about the intelligence Veronica had mastered. If Veronica had some special power in hand, there might be a chance to catch the opponent off guard if the opportunity arose.
"You can actually do that?" Veronica was somewhat surprised.
