Halo's threat made her somewhat wary. The hints from Presia, along with the rumors that Aiden often visited the solitary confinement cell to speak with Halo, made her faintly aware of the truth behind Halo's sudden return to sanity.
She wouldn't dare to act recklessly before ensuring her safety.
"Quit the bluster," Aiden said calmly to Halo, "'The power of revenge' indeed might manage to accumulate hatred and settle scores later, but how much of that power do you still retain now? There's barely a trace of divinity left on you; the powers you hold are incomplete. Answer me directly, can you still hold onto the hatred and return it to your enemies later?
