The next evening, Flandre knocked on Aiden's office once more.
"Prisoner 3677's prison orientation has concluded," Flandre reported to Aiden.
"After spending a night in solitary, did this one become even a bit more obedient?" Aiden slowed the work in his hands and casually asked.
"No, she didn't show any intention to cooperate, has reached the point where she could be thrown into solitary again. If Veronica hadn't been keeping watch in the orientation room, I reckon she would've flipped the table over."
"Hmm, as expected," Aiden looked up.
"Shall I take her to the cell now? Or..." Flandre hesitated, "Honestly, I think with the way she is right now, she'll likely stir up trouble if she's put into the cell."
Aiden caught Flandre's drift; since Annie was uncooperative even during the prison orientation, they had a reason to throw her in solitary again to take the edge off her.
