"What? Given the chance to do a little something to raise your already-bottom-level treatment grade, you're not happy about it?" Aiden said without changing his expression, Ophelia's reaction was within expectations.
Rather, it would be unusual if she had immediately agreed without objection.
"Hmph, don't bother yourself!" Ophelia bluntly refused, "Why should I care about the life or death of such low-ranking vampires? Let her die!"
Aiden thought that a vampire of the Earl level wasn't really considered low-ranking.
Perhaps only someone of Ophelia's Prince-level stature would have the privilege of looking down from the top of such a disdain chain.
"Do you know why this woman came here?" Aiden pointed at the female Earl on the bed, "Today, she attempted to kidnap you from prison by holding a prison guard hostage and threatening me."
"What?" Ophelia turned to look at the female Earl, quickly ascertained she didn't know her, then furrowed her brows, "Who are you trying to fool!?"
