"Eh? Huh? This…" Daili watched as Aiden left with two people and stood in front of the door, descending into confusion.
The other prisoners also exchanged glances, unsure of what got into the warden today.
"Wow, lucky the she-wolf isn't here tonight, or she'd probably have a meltdown seeing this…" Camilla clutched the railing and muttered to herself as she watched the scene unfold.
As Aiden and the others passed by the door, she immediately started teasing Aiden in a snide tone, "Hey hey, Warden, you're having quite the fun today, huh! Why not count me in!"
"Oh, no need for you, just stay in your cell." Aiden replied dismissively, without even a sideward glance.
"Why not!?" Camilla immediately took umbrage at his response, "Hold on! Am I any worse than them!? I can't accept this, damn it!!"
The remaining prisoners were all gobsmacked as they watched Aiden walk towards the main gate, including those who had been the most vociferous in cursing him just moments ago.
