"Divine words can't just be spoken to exert power. If the authority of the ruler could be stolen so easily, there would already be gods everywhere in this world," Daili said, pointing at herself, "If I could use the language of the gods, I wouldn't resign myself to stay here, merely studying common dark magic."
"So you're saying that for divine words to be effective, there are conditions? What are they?" Aiden asked.
"It's divinity. Only those with divinity can make the ruler's language effective!" Daili spread her hands towards Aiden, eyes blazing as she looked at him, "Just like you and Abigail."
"What exactly is divinity? Explain it to me clearly," Aiden pressed on.
