"The wise choice you speak of..." Aiden stared intently into Daili's eyes, "refers to this kind of betrayal?"
"Of course, if there's a benefit to be had, I see no reason not to do it." Daili smiled elegantly.
"Fool, do you still think you're in control of the situation? The demonic contracts you placed on them have been lifted!" Ophelia finally lost her temper and taunted Aiden loudly.
"Lifted?" Aiden pondered for a moment, then his eyes widened slightly as if realizing something.
With a slight turn of his head, he saw Asenna already pointing a long-handled Magic Wand at his back.
"That's right." Asenna pushed up her glasses.
"I've done quite a bit of research on non-summoning demonic contracts as well. You should be aware of that, right?" Meiruki chuckled, "I'm taking my daughter with me, how could I possibly allow her life to remain in your hands?"
