The slowly burning torches dispelled the night, and also the Black Fog that tried to approach.
Pairs of Torch Warriors walked into the fog-filled darkness of night, and if one were to look down from high above the city, they'd see points of light scattered throughout the previously dark mist.
In every direction -- northeast, southwest -- Exploration Teams had paid a heavy "price," embarking on their search along predetermined pathways.
