The Cat that got so scared it couldn't speak human words, eventually still ended up tied to the experiment table.
Of course, this was actually a good thing, in all respects....

Choosing the Cat as the first experimental subject wasn't an impulsive decision or a matter of convenience for Lu Ping'an, but because she indeed was the best choice on Lu Ping'an's list.
The first "Unit-01" naturally had to show results regardless of cost, and the Cat was truly the prime material.
She had the Spirit Cat talent, combining the extremely rare "Spiritualization" and "Cat" traits, and could even be considered a composite of two abilities...
