When Lu Ping'an received the inquiry, he was a bit surprised and even puzzled.
But the person on the other end of the line was quite direct.
This time, their project was cast on a large scale, but they did not plan to "hog it all"; they were ready to widely invite renowned civilian strongmen, masters within the profession, and high-level combat powers from various places to participate.
In Lu Ping'an's eyes, this was both a form of cooperation and perhaps a showy kind of competition, a literary duel of sorts.
If it were as an examiner, that would be one thing, as reputation and strength would suffice, but if as an invigilator, it obviously required taking to the field personally.
Perhaps, then, this was an alternative form of military exercise?
