Taboo items and quasi-pollution items are the two most common categories. In fact, there was no distinction between them... Lu Ping'an always felt that the value of quasi-pollution items was underestimated, simply because they were common and could be mass-produced.
Both were "polluted creations", and the core difference between taboo items and quasi-pollution items was whether they themselves were a super pollution source.
That is, quasi-pollution items would gradually deteriorate if left unattended, while taboo items themselves were complete pollution sources that might even become stronger over time.
