Information is one thing, and actual combat is another, and it became clear at the very start of the obstacle-road race how unconventional it was going to be.
Obstacle races - the terrain is an obstacle, the enemies are obstacles, mechanisms are obstacles, even competitors are obstacles.
"... Randomly mark two competitors, make a full-speed dash in one minute, the winner will gain a position further ahead..."
The Chasers, no doubt, represent an unfair existence in the race. They love races that go all the way and appreciate the persistence of the Chasers but despise overwhelming victories.
One unlucky duck and one lagging lucky guy get marked. If the person in front can't run farther in a certain amount of time, the positions of the two will be swapped directly.
With such a rule, a full-on dash is actually quite foolish.
