For newcomers, this is a "setting", or even a widely accepted common sense.
If you really want to be precise, you probably only learn the answer that "their abilities are similar/in conflict with each other".
But why can't they be practiced simultaneously when their abilities are similar or conflicting? Even silver professionals cannot give an answer to this.
