Chapter 164 - Chapter 146: The Entire Industrial Chain

All things grow because of the sun; one could say that all life on Earth originates from sunlight.

Plants are the primary converters of solar energy. Through photosynthesis, they gain energy and use it for survival and reproduction. The direction of their evolution naturally leans towards stronger survival skills and reproductive abilities.

Animals, on the other hand, are predators. They feast on organic matter and stand at the lower levels of the energy food chain. They must devise ways to hunt down more plants or animals.

Faster feet, a stomach more capable of digestion, sharper claws and teeth – naturally, the direction of their evolution took a different turn.

Plants require larger and broader leaves to increase the range of photosynthesis.

They grow taller branches to overtake their peers and monopolize sunlight.

A slower yet efficient metabolic and circulation mechanism lets them survive through harsh winters and droughts.
