Other monks might be accused of aggrandizing themselves, but Fa Ding's claim was legitimate and well-founded.
Nearly one thousand four hundred years ago, Fa Ding and the Elder Brother were disciples under Yin Guang Luohan, fighting demons and dividing Wish Power Beads with fellow disciples from the three teachings. It could be said they spent decades of exhilarating times.
Back then, they would drink heartily, eat meat without restraint, and divide incense offerings by the large scale!
They may not have been of high cultivation or power at the time, but they were carefree, hopeful for longevity, and truly among the immortals!
