The laboratory, Master Batu lay on an iron bed, his hands, feet, and even neck all shackled.
Various instruments were connected to his body, monitoring his vital signs.
Beside Master Batu stood a lab technician.
Just then, the door to the laboratory opened, and someone in a lab coat came in and asked, "How's it going?"
"His physical indicators are almost breaking through the C-grade level, very impressive," the person beside Master Batu replied.
"You can take a break, I'll keep watch here," said the newcomer.
"No need," the other responded with a glance at Master Batu.
This was his mission.
"After so many days, you should rest," the newcomer said, moving behind him, when suddenly he covered the other's mouth and produced a sharp object, stabbing directly into his neck.
The man's body convulsed violently before he fell to the ground.
The newcomer looked at Master Batu and took out another syringe, injecting its contents straight into Master Batu's veins.
