The condo was sieged with arms-carrying cops who rode in aggressively on power bikes. The cops burst forth in numbers on the crime scene in Jenny's apartment at Brook street. They took to caution and expertise in the course of examining the details of the scene in Jenny's apartment.
Jenny had invited the cops-- as matter of last resort--to unravel the gory scene, as she no longer felt safe in her home. It was the second murder in her apartment in the space of two months and she was determined not to let this escape the attention of the right authority. She had thought it's a game--a dirty game of power tussle and cunning schemes. She had thought she could get to the root of this all alone. But even she feared for her safety now more than ever. She was left with no choice, but to involve the cops.
