As soon as Alex sat at his desk, Arnold came holding a tab "Good morning Sir. We might have a serious PR problem in our hands" Said Arnold
Arnold's statement made Alex pose mid way opening his laptop and closing it back "Please, be more elaborate about it" he spoke while looking direct at Alex
Arnold scrolled to a particular part on the tab and clicked, then handed it to Alex. He still gave him a rundown on the issue at hand.
After reading through the article, Alex dropped the tab on the table with a thud and the look on his face spoke volumes about his emotions.
The action made Arnold pause mid-way his sentence and looked at his boss who had tun cold in anger.
"Aftermath?" Alex asked
"Not looking good, Sir. The backlash is really crazy despite there not being evidence to back up their claims.
Alex had worked himself so hard to keep a clean slate throughout the business world despite everything that came with it. Three years ago, he avoided the confrontation with the Almond group when their contract was stolen not because he was scared, but because he knew what it meant to be in the public eye, especially on the internet.
But here he was, being dragged with no evidence whatsoever. Alex could clearly single out the mind behind everything that was happing on the internet.
The big heading read "FORD GROUP ATTEMPTS TO STEAL PROJECT FROM ALMOND GROUP AFTER THREE YEARS"
The heading alone was misleading enough, but they had to ahead and write trash to back up the bold statement.
"Should PR release a statement?" asked Arnold
Three years was enough time for the Almond group to swim in the glory that should have been the Ford group's, and it was about time they learned the hard way.

"What, Sir?"
"You heard me right, Arnold. Call the media because I am not playing Fredrick's games anymore"
"Of course, yes, sir," answered Arnold before turning to head out
"A minute, Arnold," Called Alex
"Yes, Sir." He returned to stand before Alex again.
Alex asked Arnold to organize an impromptu meeting with the PR department. He needed to go through everything with them before the press conference with the media later on.
At the Almond group........
"I am utterly disappointed in you, Fredrick. How could you make such a decision, know well enough that it could affect the entire company?" Chairman Almond couldn't contain the anger that bubbled inside him.
He had to call out his son on his stupidity because he knew the kind of man that his son Fredrick had chosen to go against.
"I just saved our company from the clutches of Alexander Ford, father. Is this all you are going to say to me?" Fredrick wasn't one to easily show remorse, especially since he didn't feel like he was in the wrong.
"For someone holding a CEO position in the company, you are quite stupid and incompetent" Came the thunderous voice of chairman Almond "I am ashamed to tell anyone that you are my son. How are you going to run such a big company if you can't think beyond what meets the eye"
The disappointed look that his father was giving him along with the condescending voice made Fredrick walk out of his father's voice angrily and banged the door hard on his way out.
"What happened with the chairman" Tin came in as soon as Fredrick had returned to his office
Her blouse was pulled down to show most of her cleavage, and she moved to where Fredrick was. Tina bent down and her breasts were almost in his face
"Not now, Tina," He said as he moved away from her
"But that is not what you said last night when you wouldn't let me sleep" Tina didn't like the attitude that Fredrick was showing her.
She had gone out of her way these years to give her body to him in a bid to keep her place at the company. After earning a position in the Almond group through her father Mr. Johnson, Tina knew very well that she lacked in talent. With her current position as the Creative Director, talent and ability were the most needed.
It had been going so well for the past three years, but as things stood, she might be on a road to losing more than just her position at the company.
Yesterday night, she used her female charms to confuse him and compel him into turning the tides that were negatively riding her way.
Tina had seen the backlash that the Ford group was facing, and she knew that they weren't going to let it slide. She wasn't settled in her heart, and that is why she ran into Fredrick's room after seeing him return from the chairman's room.
"The chairman is not happy with whatever is going on right now" Said Fredrick quietly.
