Chapter 63 - Suspecting me?

"What ancient family?" I muttered. I sighed multiple times because I didn't know what I felt about any of this thing. I could tell the whole information heavily exploded that they choked me. I began to search for relative information about them; however, I had noticed that things wouldn't be as simple as biting a snack.

I pulled out my phone and called again; the other side picked up. "From my understanding of Shen Yongrui, I have a few ideas of what he is thinking. So I will have you run a special errand for me." My voice appeared cold and void of emotions.

"Yes, of course, I will do anything for you," the other person (a female voice) suddenly became excited. "Does it mean you validate my claim" she added.

"For now, I can't tell what you are thinking. This drama happened because you were interested in my talent and not me. I won't be an idiot to think you would wake one morning and fall for me. However, I know a certain amount of what you said holds some truth. And that's because we have been together for a while, at the very least. My confusion is that you are so beautiful and cute that anyone could go mad—why me? You were supposed to be cold and indifferent like you used to, yet nothing. So I couldn't imagine an angel falling in love with Satan, you know? That is why I am so surprised and confused. Regardless, let's allow the handwriting of time to solve all the mystery."

On the other end, Li Min furtively giggled. Of course, I clearly heard her, but I did not actually blame her; it was funny hearing my calm analysis and praise. She thought far and wide about what to say, but she was clueless. She had never interacted with the opposite sex this way; it was novel to her. At the same time, being so active about it made it so weirdly unbelievable. Some time ago, she would have cursed anyone who broached the topic. But it was ironically true today that she was compromising.

So she said: "You belittle yourself too much. The first time I happened to take a closer look at you, you surprised me with your beauty; the first time I hugged you, I also discovered that you are surprisingly cute. However, your terrible attitude and death energy made you unapproachable." Then, Li Min laughed conceitedly: "But I, after all, understand you: I am too cute, right?" She wanted to be cutely funny, but I accepted her claim immediately, which made us fall silent for a while. It was an undeniable fact she was a goddess. Although people could consider me a hunk; however, compared to her, the distance is far; she was too dazzling that she was incomparable.

"We are in for a real fight. After all, it is not my way to give up when we haven't finished the fight. If anything, I want to see this ancient family even more. However, let us draw lines with emotions for now. And if you really do love me, I will verify that myself in the future. Well, it all depends on your sincerity." I whispered.

I finished with the calls; however, I was still worried about the game these people planned to execute; this last trigger must be for future use. I could not imagine Shen Yongrui and Chonglin Mingxia would use this information immediately.

"Ahh! They really want to espy on class B. I should regard it as another blackmail." I gave an enigmatic smile. Let us play the game slowly, shall we?

I picked up my phone and sent instructions to Toa Fen; she indicated that she had seen them. She picked up the command and sent it to Boazhai Dayu, who was lying on her bed. Her room was neat and slightly empty. As usual, she did not have many overwhelming accessories. But it was conducive with freshened air inside. Precisely speaking, people could describe her room as a rose petal. Well, let's forget about her room for now. So she got the message and made a call instantly.

"Hello!" her voice throbbed.

"Hello, Dayu!" Toa Fen's voice came from the other end.

"I can't say all these; aren't these our class secrets?" she struggled with the word.

"Yes, they are, but it is not a problem. Go ahead with it. Haven't people visited a lot lately?"

Boazhai Dayu remained silent, affirming that indictment.

"This is what he wants you to do, and he worries you wouldn't want to cause him any harm or implicate our classmate. You trust him, don't you?" Toa Fen divulged. She was really meticulous about it as she kept the mystery shuffling.

....

After everything, I picked up my phone again and sent a picture to Li Min. As she had received the image, she called immediately. I picked up.

"What do you want me to do with this?" she asked.

"You should be the class leader behind the scene, remember? So look for those three girls. They are the three front people in the termite group. Follow them up, and at a certain point in time, I will give you a signal to act." I spoke calmly; this time, she absolutely had to obey me and act accordingly. After all, I held an overwhelming advantage over her. While she could play other sly tricks on me, she couldn't do the bigger ones like expelling me. Similarly, she didn't have that time to deal with me. So I wanted to possess this key for a long time; no more position shifts.

"Understood!"

I have set the stage; let's see how you play. I comfortably sat and feverishly stared at the opened computer.

....

The winter break quickly came to a not-so-perfect ending; it was an emotional rollercoaster. Still, it ushered in the next year, which happened to be our second-year first semester. The school had admitted the current first year, but they were still dillydallying; however, the universe had set natural permutation.

Regardless, in our class, someone had slightly rearranged our sitting position. I sat closer to the window by the last row while Li Min sat behind me. In matters of discussion, it was only a slight change in position with little exertion to catch my attention. Who the hell made this decision? When I thought about it, I understood: it couldn't be more obvious who had the power to cause it. Was there any need for such a clinging atmospheric setting? I wish something new could happen, just like the seat arrangement. Yes, something new, like the resignation of Jian He. No one wanted to see such a pallid face again. However, after my candid thought, the wind brought the Mein. He wouldn't just go away.

Jian He joined the class with his usual murky ambiance. Nothing lively could happen with him around. In fact, I had to believe that if someone ignited a light, his spiritual inky blackness would probably snuff it out. An inconsolable ghost king! The other teachers warmly received us into our new class, yet the crestfallen ghost paid no attention to us; what a bizarre man. Just die and give the world the fifty percent happiness—you took from it.

"The second year has started. I know most of you are still in the dark. Many people did well while others danced around the river at the edge of a great fall. There is a need to sit up and face forward. You are the current king; however, you can still fall off your throne. Most of you did nothing great apart from Constituting nuisance. Oh! How I wish the school would expel such people." Jian He's words were filled with advice and revile. But when he spoke about nuisance, all eyes focused on me like a camera lens. It was like they saw the class clog.

"You sure have made your reputation even in this school," Li Min whispered behind me. What did she mean even in this school? Rather than talk to her, I totally ignored her. Jian He must have his eyes on me now; I couldn't afford such a distressed fellow like him. If he dared single me out, that became the beginning of my first-semester punishment series.

"This semester will not be easy." He passed a lasting gaze on the class. Anyway, it was not as though any semester in history was particularly simple, so his word certainly did not make any meaning. What the hell is the surly fellow trying to say. Was it so hard to give an opening speech?

The man continued his screed: "The school will focus this midterm test on a general quiz; the generality I mean is simple: we will focus on everything around you. We will be studying the patterns of the quiz, and other class options will do the same. So make sure no one leak these patterns to other classes. If that happens, you will probably fail to oblivion." He was awful at explanation. But thank goodness he finally finished his preaching.

At this moment, I felt a cold stare because the deplorable Jian He gazed at me for some reason I couldn't judge; I got an ominous feeling about that stare. 'My gosh! He must think of me as some traitor that would leak the class secret to the other options. Is this guy doping his mind with useless narcotics? How dare he suspect me, and these guys were obviously sending a secret signal to our class members.' Seeing Jian He's actions, Li Min smiled. The same with Toa Fen and Xiu Ying. Toa Fens subordinates focused their thoughts without minding Jian He, but Changming Quan shot Jian He a furtive cold gaze. It was unnoticeable, especially since Jian He couldn't have expected Changming Quan to feel irritated by that seemingly harmless comment. However, others who didn't know me as the dark lord in charge of solving all their unknown trouble (but fortunately understood Jian He barb) displayed their smelly rotten teeth.
