Chapter 55 - the movement

On the fourth day of the second test, I sat peacefully in my room, and in front of me was a chess game. Before now, I play chess with my phone (online chess, which I've amassed unprecedented achievements). But I sometimes used my mind as the chess board and my thoughts as the players. But now, I needed to familiarize myself with the boring game, so I could better understand human actions. What makes them move? What makes them retreat? There were always underlying reasons for such movements. At this moment, I stared at the chess board and smiled. "All pieces had taken action, and they had already used their pawns. I've set the stage and decided on the outcome." I muttered to myself. A godly player could do more with chess than an inexperienced one. Chess was really more than people saw it. After all, how could I have predicted that Chonglin Mingxia would cross paths with Li Min? So godly players could foresee others' actions and preemptively control people's movements to execute something without them knowing.

"Hey little guy, don't conclude you are so good now?" gods-mind laughed loudly. The bugger continuously mocked me like I was some callow with the brain size of a pea.

"What do you mean by that?" I growled.

"You are nothing good. You only faced small and mindless cretins; they are not enough for a holiday. What are you proud of?" gods-mind retorted confidently.

'Alright, I see. You are really promising. If you were so great, why depend on me? In fact, I need to put this ghost in his place. Would I, the great lord, never become great in his so-called great mind? I feel so aggrieved having this ungrateful guy around.'

"How strong are my future enemies?" I asked with a smirk. Since he wanted to become shameless, let's see who becomes tired of this game. Why did that damn golden stele even have a foolish interpreter like that arse? That golden stele should have just communicated as an inanimate object.

"You will know when the time comes." He replied lazily. And here he comes again! Honestly, I am glad he still has this shameless way of poking my wound. And he had totally destroyed my earlier journey because of his ungrateful appearance. In fact, it was as if I never had plans for my old life. Shameless fellow!

At this point, someone knocked on my door. I went for the door, and when I opened it, I saw Lan Mei. Ever since I saw her real side and rescued her, she had become more appealing to the eyes—eliminating her precocity. At the very least, she had totally abolished that irritating behavior.

"Hello, Lan Mei." I greeted her and invited her in. She was absent-minded as she entered my room. Honestly, whatever she was thinking had completely eluded me. But she needn't be lost; it was not her first time here.

"Hello!" she returned my greeting after a few seconds of thought.

"Where are the mp3 headphone and the memory chip?" I demanded.

Lan Mei brought it out of a plastic bag and handed it to me.

"Those girls hadn't bothered you again, right?" I asked with a confident smile, but she could only nod.

"What is the plan?" she asked.

"There is none, for now, but good work! You can work together with Toa Fen." She nodded obediently like a child, but I noticed her eyes were fiercely hot as she exuded woman shyness. She bowed and left. I couldn't understand what she meant by showing that part of her. In any case, I wasn't about to pay attention to such things.

Outside my room, in my corridor, Lan Mei breathed out a sigh of relief as she patted her chest.

"What am I thinking?" She questioned herself even though she already had the answer. The heavens could hear Lan Mei's thoughts from a thousand miles. She forever couldn't believe I looked so unbearably handsome. In fact, she wondered how contradicting my image looked compared to my behavior.

"Can he take up another trade? Why become a notorious vermin if he is too pleasing to the eye? I can't believe I wanted to kiss him." Lan Mei couldn't believe that Guang Fang had messed up her mind into confusion.

At this moment (in my room), I quickly slotted in the memory card on my computer and pasted a particular file. I had long prepared everything. Now it was time to see how effective it would be. I brought out the memory card. And after some wild thought, I slotted it directly into the mp3 headphone. At midday, people transferred many files into my computer; they were all the interviews with the ten susceptible victims. Just because I hadn't acted didn't mean I hadn't done anything.

I carefully watched the entire interview; I analyzed their behaviors. After seeing them a few times, I decided to create patterns.

The evening quickly came upon me, but I welcomed its lazy light. Seeing that I had finished my plans, I picked up my phone and sent a message with the time and place of the meeting with a picture of one pink headphone. It was time for the King to make an appearance on the battlefield.

However, the person returned the message to me: [If you can determine where I stay, then we can meet.]

Regardless, when I saw her reply, I laughed heartily: she must be kidding me. So I sent her the message that it was the third-year class swimming pool; she sat in the setting sun. I had to announce it explicitly to her. In fact, she had to understand that I knew her very well. After all, that information couldn't have been in her student profile. Who would go to the length of inputting such a record? Was the school purposefully wasting space now?

After a while, a message came to me: she had approved our meet-up. I stood up with a smile, pulled out my coat, and left. It had to be great, after all. That's because while the obdurate cretins kept their eyes on their supposed enemy, I would solve the world's problem.

At the same time, in an empty outdoor archery club courtyard, an indifferent girl bashfully gazed forward towards the setting sun. The school beautified the square with beautiful carpet grasses. Also, the girl had ten targets to shoot at; she mounted these targets wonderfully on their stands. The girl sat on the floor; she was indifferent to her environment. Whatever was happening seemed not to be her concern as she was aloof to everything around her. Her unwelcoming eyes cared for nothing at all.

Beaufort Jia: she was a third-year class A student. This person loved to practice archery. In fact, she didn't seem to have enough love for this archery. Perhaps: what she cared about the most was gazing at the setting and the quietness of the environment. At this moment, a figure walked behind her: Chonglin Mingxia.

"May I sit with you?" Chonglin Mingxia spoke calmly.

"Do whatever you want." Beaufort Jia spoke without turning to her.

.....

At the same time, a room in the female dormitory lit beautifully. The female rooms had always kept many properties; they elegantly maintained them. It was the same with this room. It had the breath of life, unlike my (Guang Fang) room which smelled like a dead plain of an unknown desert. At this moment, someone knocked outside the room. However, inside the elegant room, a student with a single scar on her left cheek lay on her large-sized bed. But she looked timid and weak.

Zhaohui Fenfang: she was a third-year class A student. This girl got her mark when she was little, and ever since, she lost her self-confidence and would confine herself in the room if she had nothing serious to do.

However, I wondered why the school gave us so many weird girls. Almost all of them had an issue with social networking. Was it to waste our time on purpose? I couldn't understand them, after all. At this moment, the girl walked to the door and opened it, only to tremble in fear when she saw the unexpected visitor. It was Shen Yongrui.

"Excuse me!"

But before Shen Yongrui could finish speaking, the girl fearfully slammed the door in front of him. Inside her room, close to the door, her heart whacked faster, and she began to sweat amidst the heavy air conditioning. However, Shen Yongrui wasn't about to give up. In this test, everyone was testing their social and psychological capabilities. If such a minor thing could defeat him, he wasn't the social freak that everyone believed him to be. Shen Yongrui spoke calmly without fear as he looked at the door before him like he could genuinely see Zhaozhui Fenfang. Zhaozhui Fenfang, who stood before her door, felt guilty that she slammed the door in front of the stranger. In fact, she felt more guilty when she noticed that the person wasn't about to give up. So she tried to regulate her breathing. And when she calmed herself down, she mustered up the courage and opened the door fearfully and slowly. At this moment, Shen Yongrui spoke to her with his face looking right through her eyes. However, she turned down her face, seemingly embarrassed about the scar on her face. But Shen Yongriu didn't mind.

When Shen Yongrui clearly saw the room, he thought that the room was neat and remarkable. To be precise, he felt it was colorful with fluffy furniture and frilly bedding. That was not all; she had a colorful throw pillow, a cute dresser with ornate coloring, a shade rug, and two stuffy animals lying lazily on the shade rug.

"What do you want?" Zhaozhui Fenfang sputtered after she mustered up the courage. At this moment, she had already invited Shen Yongrui inside as it would be rude to leave him outside. So throwing out the question, she quickly pushed ahead to prepare him a welcoming tea.

"Nothing! You don't need to feel nervous around me because I am harmless." Shen Yongrui retorted with animated eyes, trying to calm the pressure in the room. At this moment, Zhaozhui Fenfang had returned with a cup of hot tea. She anxiously handed it to Shen Yongrui. In fact, because of her unusual nervousness, she nearly burnt him with the hot tea.
