Chapter 36 - The real academy

"Most times, intelligence was vague. Someone could evidently describe them as knowing what to do at the right time because intelligence was general. In fact, in a world as tricky as Thunder Country, being intelligent was a good thing. But it was certainly not enough because many people became obsessed with controlling intelligent people. However, who wielded this control?"

These questions had bugged me for eternity; regardless, the fog behind the problems had begun to clear up. The more astute a person was, the more elevated his position. And eventually, the world would give the person a larger stage to operate. Actually, I wanted to see what this extraordinary stage would look like; nonetheless, I wasn't about to announce that I was capable. After all, if I told people I knew too much, they would be wary of me. Being a nuisance and a fool was always the best way to cover up tracks.

After my ten days of suspension, the school pardoned me. In a large assembly hall, many first-year students gathered. The principal and the three teachers of the first-year class stood overbearingly present on this occasion. Even the student president, Lin Gen, was attending. The hall wheezed with noise. However, while some people talked excitedly, others worried about the situation. In any case, it was a grand setup. Anyone could tell how serious the circumstance was.

On the platform, apart from the class B homeroom teacher and the principal, a young adult who wore a smile stood closer to the principal. He had a bright expression. This person's long hair fell behind him warmly. At the same time, he had a relatable demeanor—he could work with anyone without challenge. This person was Kang Hop; he was the homeroom teacher of class A. Also, by his left stood a good-looking female teacher with a mature air. She bobbed her short blonde hair on both sides, and she covered her slightly long neck with a broad silver necklace. This person looked warm and noble. Wei Yan: she was the class C homeroom teacher, and her beauty ranked high in this school. I had often wondered what the situation in her class was. Did those guys comprehend her teaching? Or did they only stare at her?

All the first year stood motionless as they awaited the next instruction. Around me (although concealed in the crowd), people whispered generously about me. "I thought the school had expelled this buffoon. Why is he here?" People darted me baleful and disgusted gazes. However, I did not mind any of it. They were just useless trashes; they weren't worth the attention of this lord.

In fact, unknown fools who didn't know of the ground they stepped on would think they were superior to others. One of the characteristics of being astute was being patient and discerning. "I guess what I can see turned out to be an illusion to them," I muttered with a sigh. I wasn't interested in these people, and I wasn't about to waste unnecessary energy on them. If they were dissatisfied with something, they should be bold enough to accuse me; and not chant like they were homeless children. Well, I consider them as nothing.

Previously, I had called for Changming Quan to scout detailed information on classes A and C, and he did well. He even had pictures of a few outstanding and mysterious students. Also, since Xiu Ying had a more considerable network, I ordered her to run the same errand for me. Xiu Ying had understood that if she was a naughty brat—I was hell road. No negotiations! After she had intended to use me, I had manipulated everything. Xiu Ying, who does not want people to see her incompetence, blackmailed me. She wanted me to teach her specific methods that could effortlessly allow her to instruct the three Heng Da. Shortly after, I also blackmailed her into listening to me. Ironically, all the dormitories in Suzhou academy had a hidden camera. So Xiu Ying knew I did not video her when she was with me because she watched me like a hawk. But after she left my room, I hacked into the hidden cameras that all dormitory rooms possessed and brought out our video. I hid every trace that connected back to me and blurred my face; I removed unnecessary parts of the video and sent it to her. No one could retrieve the original video because I made the edited video the original. When she saw it, she paled in fear. I even showed her a video of when she wanted to rape me. Even though I edited and tempered it, not even the best videographer could find a fault. Also, even though Xiu Ying knew what happened that day to be different from the video, she couldn't deny the authenticity. At the same time, she realized that she needed my potential to excel. So she bit the bullet and grabbed onto the cord of destiny.

However, Changming Quan was different. He had suddenly understood how dangerous I was. What bullies feared the most was a tormentor. He knew that if he didn't bow his head, he could only suffer in my hands. Additionally, he understood that he could get some benefits from following me. So he became my covert subordinate. Anyway, this outcome was what I wanted—I had better not expose my trump cards too early. This person became my eyes and also my errand boy. For now, the president and Toa Fen were yet to bring what I ordered of them.

I had told the president to exhaust all the resources he could grab to bring those things to me. Even though I hadn't told Ling Gen how important those plants were, he was no fool. He knew I was up to something, and his failure could cause disaster. He had endlessly pleaded with his uncle to find those plants and the crucibles. His uncle, who loved education, didn't think much since he loved Ling Gen the most. Of course, Ling Gen's parents also adored him. At the same time, Toa Fen's parents had started using all their connections to get the best heating frame set up for alchemy. I knew that it wouldn't take long before those things arrived. In Thunder nation, the heavens reversed acupuncture points. Everyone had almost opened all the 2000 points in their bodies. However, extraordinary people removed the extra blockage, which does not allow spiritual qi to flow. So the more the people removed those other blockades, the more those points became dim as though they didn't exist. Of course, another chemistry deeply took over: heaven's baptism. Opening the last acupuncture points was like governing the control of the sea of stars. Everything would become connected, making that unique broad acupuncture like a sea guiding other tributaries. By then, the person would become ethereal and much more. In fact, no one knew much about these changes; even gods-mind hadn't said much. But I needed to get there, and I also needed to hurry. After all, I'd wasted a lot of time. So I needed those spiritual plants.

At this moment, a text came into my phone with two pictures. It was precisely from Xiu Ying. These two are the people ruling classes A and C, respectively. Instantly, my line of sight changed as I saw a student who people clustered. He looked like a social freak (an incredibly likable person). His face was harmless and tender; anyone would be intrigued with how easy he handled social matters. In fact, I believe this person's social ability ranked among the highest. From a distance, he seemed to be holy. Also, the people around him had incredible faces. According to the sent picture, he was Sheng Yongrui.

Opposite Sheng Yongrui, a female student stood at the other end of the gathering. She looked slightly paled and deserted. To be precise, she was a lone star. She had medium hair with a wispy edge. She meticulously colored her hair with Havana brown. However, she colored her hair with a darker shade of the same color on her right flank and a light shade of the same color on the left. In any case, she stood unique, but anyone could tell she was unchallenged. I gazed at the picture on my phone and noticed she was Chonglin Mingxia.

Immediately, the principal stood and cleared his throat. "We have assembled you (first-year students) because we believe you have already familiarized yourself with the academy." He said. At this point, the little noise springing up died down. Everyone anticipated his following words and action.

"This academy is among the special ones in the entirety of Thunder country, and it is the best in Suzhou province. You are not just writing exams, but we also test your mental and emotional limits. What is your thinking process? What is your ability to solve problems in society? These are what we want to ascertain. It is not just the art of writing and philosophizing—every student needs to equip themselves." The principal made a series of minor movements as he spoke with boldness.

He gazed at the audience with interest and smiled like a conqueror. "From henceforth, there will be obvious competition between each class. Who would be the emperor, and who will claim the adherent or subject? The heavens had set this decision in stone. So prepare yourself before the younger ones knock you off the ladder."

Just as the principal finished his speech, the student buzzed—it was complete chaos. To most people, this announcement surprised them. However, to others, they had panicked expressions. But ironically, people like Shen Yongrui and Chonglin Mingxia never changed their manifestations even for a second. It was unknown what thought occupied them. However, I knew these people would overreach themselves and risk getting obliterated.

"I guess it is time to get busy," Shen Yongrui muttered. His confidence was as high as the heavens. Shen Yongrui stood as the leader of class A students; no one could ever challenge his supremacy. However, he was only a secret leader. The class had their leader, but they stood under his control. This person took control of the students immediately he came. His commanding presence and superior social skills had earned him both the approval of his fellow students and his teacher. However, something seemed to be different about him.

On the other side, Chonglin Mingxia only snorted. Her eyes were full of supremacy yet detached. Chonglin Mingxia had a unique identity that had placed her importance above anyone. Her teacher had to be respectful to her too. Even if she acted cold and detached, no one could deny her contribution and excellence. She was not the one that talked a lot, but she was relentlessly brutal. Of course, not physical violence but commands.
