The unknown individuals gathered their sensory eyes on the whole dungeon expanse, critically observing everything. They concentrated their efforts on the portal area and seemed determined to smoke out Lord Night at all costs. Of course, they knew the great Lord Night would arrive for this trip.
The most shocking thing, however, was that after the riot among the explorers, the organization had mysteriously replaced the ordinary individuals who wished to try their luck on an expedition with people specifically trained or hired by them.
Lord Night and Queen Veldt crept through the mist and into the portal regardless of the situation. And so did everyone else. Even though it wasn't a game of time and positions, many wanted to go inside to deal with emergencies.
This time, affluence did not mislead them because they came for one simple reason. And that was to assassinate Lord Night.
