He won't listen.
Somewhere inside his heart, Gordon was aware about the fate of his words once they were thrown out for Duncan, and thus sometimes he didn't even wanted to talk about things like those.
But then there were days like that when Duncan would just go into a ln endless struggle of not listening to Gordon at all, this would usually piss Gordon off but then after all her was a friend.
To others, someone scolding the prince would have sounded like a shocking news, but then Gordon was just who he was. And before being the prince, Gordon thought of Duncan as a best friend or the brother he would give his life form. He knew very well that Duncan used to run away from questions that pushed him slightly outside of the door, but he thought that talking about these things was a real necessity.
