The heavy mist clouded my vision for a while as I regulated my breaths into shallows as we ascended higher into the sky. The dragon lifts itself smoothly into the air, its enormous wings beating and piercing into the air with each powerful stroke.
The cloud of mists thinned and eventually vanished entirely. For the first time since we got in here, a ray of sunshine touches my skin, where the cerulean blue sky greeted my vision blinding me for a second. The dragon steadies its wings, spreading them wide as it glides swiftly into the air. Only then I began to relax on the dragon's back and my grip on its neck loosen a little. I no longer fear it. This massive fire-breathing creature.
