The night sky is littered with millions of scintillating stars, and with the moon's absence, they shine with their full brilliance. They feel so close, even though I know they are light-years of distance away from where I am right now. I often wonder if there is any other world out there just like the one we live in. The universe is so wide and no one has ever known what lies beyond what we see in the naked eyes. I have read that other planets were revolving around the sun, but were uninhabited. I wonder if it was true. I mean, how exactly did Galileo get to the conclusion that there is no life in the cosmos? Has he been there? I'm quite skeptical about his discovery, but who knows. I am not an astronomer like him.
Though I would die just to see what he sees using that cutting-edge equipment.
I suddenly felt a presence approaching me from behind. I turn my head over my shoulders and see Edric's face tilted up into the sky, gazing at the stars.
