[ —Callum]
"Shit! Callum!"
Lynx immediately spotted him drifting from the distance. He was awake, but his head still spinning from the impact, and his chest felt like it had been ripped open seeing Vereena go away with another man. A loud splash echoed from the distance and soon a pair of arms gripped him, dragging him through the water.
Callum knows this day would come that she would leave, but he hadn't prepared himself for how badly it would affect him. The side of his head was still bleeding profusely, but he paid a little too nothing about how it hurt.
Lynx hauled him to the dock, grunting as he pulled his body into the wooden surface. He wasn't moving, he was still in a daze, but his eyes move towards where Vereena should be, but his vision was only met with the endless stretch of blackness as the clouds obscured the moon once again.
"Damn it, Callum. Can you hear me?"
