It's been a week now since we were stranded on the island. Also, it's been a week since I keep declining Callum's invitation to join them on their expedition deep into the jungle to gather food and the woods they would use to repair the hull.
While I, on the other hand, I offered to clean the cave with the fruit's peelings and husks from the last meal before they returned, as that, I can only do to make myself useful.
It was all good, and I have no complaints about any of it until today.
"You're coming with us, caileag," Callum stated with finality soon after we finished eating our breakfast. Which consisted of freshwater fishes, bananas, guavas, some wild berries, and coconut water.
