"Goblins! A whole hoard of them!" Beetle shouted, his keen eyes picking everything up.
Ophelia was terrified for her life. But above all, she was frightened by what the monsters could do to Killorn. He can't die. Out of everyone in this world, he shouldn't die again! Ophelia headed straight for the doors, even though she was useless in this situation.
"Draw your swords! None of you better change forms," Killorn roared.
What could Ophelia do except get in their way? Ophelia's hands froze on the carriage knobs. She heard wicked giggling resembling a crazed child. Her breath was caught in her throat. Ophelia realized in this situation, that she was good as a sitting duck. Just sit there and look pretty, her wet nurse once told her.
