Yusuke made his way to his assigned classroom. As he went inside, he could see some of his friends, such as Mina, Kida, and more.
'We're finally all in the same class!' he exclaimed inwardly.
He approached them with a smile and greeted them "Good morning".
A few minutes later, their Homeroom Teacher arrived. As he, Kida, and Mina were talking...
...
"Takao Kida." called out their teacher.
"Present!" Kida replied.
"Anyway, Kicchi, you were saying?" Yusuke asked him.
"Yeah! My Papa got a trampoline! It's really fun to play with..." the boy answered.
Mina, with stars in her eyes, exclaimed, "Really!? Can we play with it?!"
As Kida was about to reply, "Ahem. You three at the back. Is there anything you'd like to share with the class?" their teacher scolded them.
...
'A trampoline... I hope Kicchi's parents allow us to play with it. Bouncing up and down sounds fun.' Yusuke thought excitedly as he wrote some notes in his notebook.
But, he slowed down and pondered... 'Hold on... Bounce up..? '
'I can totally use it to help me practice flying! With it, I can practice flying using my quirk, more safely... I hope Kicchi can convince his parents... Wait! I need to ask permission from my mother too.' the boy decided.
...
And so, when the classes ended, they said their goodbyes and went home. Arriving at their houses, Kida asked permission for his friends to come over, while Mina and Yusuke convinced their parents to let them go to their friend's house.
The next day, in school...
"My parents told me that I'm allowed to bring friends to our house! Only for the weekends, though..." Kida told them.
"That's great! My mother allowed me to go to your house!" said Yusuke.
Mina then butted in with a smile, "Mine too!"
...
And so... A few days pass, and we could see Mina alongside Yusuke and his mother, on their way to Kida's house.
Mina and Saeko got to know each other, and after a few minutes, they reached the address Kida gave them. At the address, they could see an enormous house. It was much larger than Yusuke's house, that's for sure.
"Woahh! Kida's rich!" exclaimed Mina. Saeko was thinking the exact same thing, as well.
Composing herself, Saeko pressed the doorbell on their gate, and after a few seconds, a child came running out of their door, followed by a woman.
"Hey, guys!" Kida greeted with a wave.
"Good afternoon. Please come in." the woman behind Kida greeted with a gentle smile.
"Ah! There's no need. I'm just dropping off my son and his friend." Saeko said tensely.
"No, please, I insist. I'd like to get to know the mother of my son's friend." the woman stated, the gentle smile never leaving her face.
...
After they went into the house, the children were still enamored by the inside of the house. But, remembering the trampoline calmed them down.
They were dragged towards Kida's spacious backyard. Seeing the trampoline, they rushed toward it. Yusuke spent a couple of minutes bouncing up and down on the trampoline, before stopping and informing his peers of what he was going to do.
"A-alright, but be careful, Yusuke-kun," Kida said in worry.
"Can we fly as well?!" asked Mina, her face full of excitement.
"Of course! You guys can fly with me after I master it." Yusuke replied, giving them a thumbs-up.
Kida and Mina stopped bouncing on the trampoline to make the platform stable for Yusuke. After that, the blonde-haired boy closed his eyes, and his clothes started flowing freely with the wind.
After a few seconds, he started to levitate slowly. He opened his eyes and, seeing that he was only a few feet above the ground, motioned his hands downwards, focusing the air on his lower body.
He then raised his hands, raising his body even higher. After that, he put his arms forward, imitating the way "Superman" flew, and willed the air to move him forward.
Kida and Mina watched in amazement when they saw Yusuke levitate, which later turned into amusement when he fell face-first onto the trampoline.
"A-are y-you alright, Yukkun?" asked Mina, trying to hold back a laugh, but later failing.
...
Yusuke practiced for another hour, while Kida and Mina played with some toys. He had now managed to move forward, albeit only slowly. But, after an hour, Yusuke stopped his training to let his friends play with the trampoline.
After a while, Saeko and Kida's mother came out to their backyard to give some snacks to the children. And, due to the children's persistence, Saeko and Kida's mother tried out the trampoline.
...
When it started to get dark, Saeko, Yusuke, and Mina left Kida's house. They first brought Mina back to her home. They invited her to their house for dinner, but the girl denied it, saying that her parents wanted her to come home before it was dark.
Arriving at their home, Saeko immediately went to the kitchen to cook their dinner, while Yusuke went to his room to practice flying since he thought he had gotten the hang of it.
