Emily sat in front of Stan, looking at him with a wide smile on her face as if she had just received a personalized gift from Santa.
"And here I was thinking you weren't going to come to see me again," she said to him.
"Would you have preferred if I didn't? I could leave," Stan deadpanned, his deep gray eyes held hers, there was something about them that she couldn't quite decipher.
Emily chuckled. "Why are you always acting as if you have something stuck up in your ass?"
Stan leaned back, an amused smile now on his face. "Seriously? is that supposed to hurt my feelings?"
Emily was quiet as she watched him, she thought he looked more handsome when he smiled.
"I don't know about your feelings, but it's the truth," she slowly shook her head trying to clear the fogginess she felt in her head. Being around him seem to make her head foggy.
