The following morning Ava woke up with a yawn when she heard the sound of someone moving about in the bedroom. She was surprised to see a middle-aged woman holding a laundry basket in her hands.
"Oh, good morning Mrs. Taylor. I'm sorry, I didn't mean to wake you up, I only wanted to pick up the laundry," the lady said, smiling at Ava.
Ava slowly sat up on the bed cleaning her eyes with the back of her palm. "Good morning," she responded to the lady's greeting. She must be Mason's housekeeper or something like that. Ava thought.
"My name is Theresa, I'm Mr. Taylor's housekeeper. And now your housekeeper of course."
"Oh, nice to meet you, Theresa," Ava said her voice still sounding sleepy.
"You can go back to sleep, I will just grab the laundry and leave." The woman said as she gathered Ava and Mason's laundry and quickly left the bedroom before Ava could say anything else.
