When Mason came downstairs ready to leave for work, he met Ava chatting with their housekeeper.
"Good morning Mr. Taylor," Theresa greeted Mason.
"Good morning Theresa," Mason responded his eyes on his wife who was looking at him strangely.
"What is wrong?" Ava asked him after Theresa had excused herself to go upstairs to clean the bedrooms. Ava was searching his face with her eyes like the answer to her question was boldly written there.
"How do you mean?" Mason asked.
Ava came closer and started to help to adjust his tie."I don't know, you seem like there is something wrong," Ava replied, still searching his face with her eyes.
"Nothing is wrong," Mason placed his hands on both sides of her waist and pulled her against his chest. His cologne greeted Ava's nostrils as he leaned down and brushed his lips against hers.
"Shouldn't you be getting ready to leave for school?"
