"I cooked your favorite food," Ella said. "You must be hungry, just eat with mother first."
Hearing that, Hazel had this sudden urge to laugh. She simply couldn't believe what she was hearing at this moment. Cooked her favorite food?
She didn't want to be sarcastic toward her own mother, but she couldn't help it when she heard those shameless words coming out of her lips.
"So? Do you know what my favorite food is?" Hazel asked again. She didn't even raise her voice, but her tone was so aloof.
She really wanted to know what kind of food that she liked according to her mother. She doubted she knew anything about her.
Upon hearing that question, Ella became restless because she was not sure what she had to say at this point. She looked at Hazel with those guilty filled eyes that she had gotten used to seeing.
