For a moment, Dominic stated that he had a videotape of the night of the incident that Brandy accused Edward off, and Bryan also accused her of. Katty looks scared, not because she lied about the case of beating her brother to death, but because she's afraid that she doesn't succeed in getting Edward in prison to replace her.
"Now what should we do? If the evidence is true it wasn't Edward who did it, we're sure to lose against Edward and his lawyers?" asked Katty, whispering to Brandy.
"Don't worry, Mr. Jack and I will get you out at all costs!" Brandy replied in a whisper. Still, Katty felt scared. Even though he has mastered it in prison though.
"Miss Katty, please sit in the chair opposite us!" the chief judge ordered.
With hesitation, Katty obeyed what the Chief Judge said.
Jack and the rest of his siblings watched the proceedings. It seems he was very annoyed by Dominic. That evidence made his plan trip over the gravel of Dominic's evidence.
"How about this, Jack? At this rate, our path to taking over all of Edward's wealth will be difficult for us to find!" whispered Hillary starting to worry.
"Don't worry Hillary, I won't let this plan fail!" answered Jack in a whisper. However, Hillary was still worried that the situation could not be reversed, and that the treasures would still be in Edward's hands.
"But this can't be allowed, Brother Jack! We might not have a chance to beat that kid! Before Edward changes his mind, you should think about the next plan. Let us carry out the plan, don't do it alone!" she replied. He was worried about his life, and the image of poverty suddenly appeared in his mind, and he didn't want to live like that anymore.
Across from them, Frans was watching their every move. He suspects that all of these incidents have something to do with Edward's uncle and aunt. Frans knew very well the nature of their cunning and greed which was very ambitious to get all of Edward's possessions. Therefore, Josh and Daniella ordered him to protect Edward from them, helping Edward so that the young man could become a great CEO and take back the companies his uncle and aunt held.
The girl was already sitting in the defendant's chair. She looks tense, she has never had anything to do with the police and courts. She did this out of necessity, to avenge her older brother—a promise she had to keep to her older brother before her older brother died.
Radiant came forward, the lawyer had already found out who Katty was. Investigating her life journey from when she was a child. Questions were asked for Katty.
"Miss Katty Anderson Lee was born in Toronto, United States. You grew up in an orphanage and ran away with that man you call brother! After that you move from Toronto to London, is that true, Miss Katty?"
Katty nodded.
"Then you fall in love at first sight of that boy! But unfortunately, your love is unrequited by a girl who comes from the same orphanage!" asked Radiant.
"Objection Your Honor judge! Questions into the personal life of my client are not allowed to be questioned according to the laws in force in this country!" Brandy protested.
"Objection accepted. Please Mr. Radiant change your question!" said the chief judge. Radiant snorted, then he got to the point.
"What is your motive for kidnapping my client? Do you have a fetish for getting a young man like mine and torturing him? Do you like my client's moans while torturing him?" accused Radiant. His statement made Katty flabbergasted.
"W-what do y-you mean?" she said nervously. Her face reddened at such a question.
"Didn't you sleep with my client?"
"Objection Your Majesty. The private sphere cannot be exposed in court." Brandy didn't like Radiant's question. The presiding judge agreed, and Radiant started to get to the heart of the matter that happened between Katty and Edward. Bryan and Dominic also became witnesses to reduce Edward's sentence on Katty and Brandy's accusations.
Katty answered a little nervously, the questions were too trapping for her so she made the wrong answer several times.
The trial continued, the seconds passed so quickly that the hours passed quickly, and in the end, the problem was won by Edward's side, Dominic's tape evidence became the key to Edward's freedom, and Brandy failed to free Katty. However, Jack's cunning keeps him from running out of ideas to free Katty so that his plan goes according to plan. The trial was dismissed.
Edward, Bryan, and Dominic walk down the aisle of the City of London district court building. Edward's assistant excused himself briefly to pick up the phone call that had been bothering him. Outside the building, on the stairs, Edward saw his Uncle and Aunt chatting with Brandy.
The young man's forehead furrowed, and Edward separated himself from Bryan and Dominic without speaking. "What are you guys doing here?" Edward asked, the young man's voice startling the young man's uncle and aunt.
They turned their heads.
"Edwards?"
"So, you guys betrayed?" Accuse him.
"What do you mean, huh?" Hillary looked emotional being accused by her nephew. "We are all innocent!"
Jack stepped closer to Edward and patted Hillary on the shoulder to calm her down. "Hello my nephew Edward, how are you?" Jack tried to familiarize himself. But Edward refused. Bryan and Dominic watched Edward from a distance. "Uncle thought you would act like a good child after the death of your parents. You have never changed at all. You have no attitude!" whispered Jack.
Edward smiled sinisterly, then he brought his face right next to Jack's ear. "Rather than Uncle, shameless. Want to get treasure but in a very cunning way!" Edward whispered back in Jack's ear.
"What are you saying?" shouted Jack angrily. "Keep your mouth shut, Edward! Don't talk so carelessly to your Uncle and Aunty!"
"We'll see, the evidence will speak of what you have done to the television company my parents," Edward threatened. He smiled very mysteriously. In Jack's head suddenly appeared hundreds of questions that made his mind shrink. "Get ready to get back on the road!"
sigh.
Jack's heart was beating faster and faster. His eyes opened very wide. Then his forehead creased as he glared at Edward.
"Wh-what do you want us to do, Edward?"
"We'll see, Uncle Jack!" Edward said, patting Jack on the shoulder. Then he just left without caring about the reaction of his famous cunning uncle.
"Shit! What's the plan in that little rat's head? Does he intend to invite me to play with his game patterns?" thought Jack frantically. However, his heart was too rotten to think straight. His smile widened, it was so scary. "Okay, Edward! If that's what you want, I'll play your game," he whispered inwardly as he narrowed his eyes at Edward who had left with his friends.
