Kazu looks around the area, and is completely stunned at how secure and shut off the training grounds are from everyone.
"So this place, it's completely shut off from everyone else, and they can't feel our Reiki either. No wonder you guys seem so comfortable with going wild." Kazu says, genuinely astonished by everything going on.
As Kazu finishes speaking, Mofina begins to walk forward. As she walks towards Kazu, Kazu slowly becomes more emotional.
"Another one of you with this weird feeling you give off...are you all like that?" Kazu says this, avoiding looking in the direction of Mofina.
"No...I apologize, it's something that's out of my control. I tend to raise emotions of those around me. Even though I know where it could come from...I'm not exactly sure if my explanation will make sense." Mofina says this, stuttering on her words.
As Mofina's cheeks flush with embarrassment, her gaze starts to drift downward, refusing to lock eyes with Kazu. Behind her though, Kazu's attention narrows, fixating on Messorem's deliberate approach.
"It's hard for her to communicate, and it's really hard for her to express herself the way she would want too. She is afraid of what others will think of her. Though...you and your friend who's helping the girl...you two seem to give off a peaceful feeling despite the fact you might not look it on the outside." Messorem says, putting a slight smile on his face.
"Everyone else has been through a lot, and I can't exactly say I understand the pain everyone else is feeling. It's easy for me to keep calm and be relaxed, it's even harder for them." Kazu says, looking down, not knowing how to feel.
Messorem's gaze switched to Kazu's blade, causing his eyes to widen in a mix of surprise and recognition. Kazu, perplexed by Messorem's unexpected reaction, met his gaze and felt a wave of confusion wash over him.
"Where...did you get that blade from? More importantly, I'm going to need you to give it to me." Messorem says this, speaking at a extremely fast pace.
"...What?!" Kazu questions Messorem, confused.
Kazu goes in to grip his sword, but Messorem quickly gets a hold of it. Messorem's already shocked expression was even more apparent.
'The feel that I just got from his blade disappeared, does this mean the feeling I'm getting is from this guy?' Messorem says, an interesting expression appeared on his face.
"Give me my sword back, if you wanted to examine it, you could have asked!" Kazu yells, nervous and confused by Messorem's curiosity.
As Kazu and Messorem engage in a battle of words, Mofina comes over and taps Messorem on the shoulder.
"What do you plan on doing to him...Messorem" Mofina asks nervously.
"The Reiki he possesses, and I even felt this with some of his other acquaintances. There's no emotion behind it...Reiki revolves around emotion, a lack of control over your emotions could cause your Reiki to destabilize. I don't want any violence, but he's dangerous for us..." Messorem says, with an angry look on his face.
"That's enough...both of you."
Joki appears behind Messorem and Mofina, and takes the sword from Messorem. Seikatsu begins to approach Messorem and Mofina as Kazu follows behind.
"You two can not identify Kazu's Reiki because you can't fathom it, they possess Reiki that is detached from their emotions." Seikatsu says, having a calming smile on his face.
Seikatsu's words left Mofina and Messorem utterly surprised, their faces a canvas of astonishment.
"What do you mean Reiki that is detached from emotions, and by they do you mean me and Joki?" Kazu says, bewildered and taken aback.
"Yes...you two possess something beyond the six basic emotions that make your control over Reiki even more unique." Seikatsu remarked with an intrigued expression.
Kazu, and Joki both look at each other in confusion after hearing Seikatsu's response. Meanwhile, Double sits next to Reima as she tries to control her breathing.
"Try to relax, I'm glad you were able to reinforce yourself in Reiki to protect yourself from the blow. You got some crazy reaction speed, Reima." Double says, trying to make Reima smile.
"I wish I could be happy about that. I'm really sorry for being weak. I can't even defend myself...I know for a fact she wasn't even at her best." Reima says, trying her best to hold back tears.
Reima begins to tear up as she responds to Double. Double gets up, and puts the necklace down next to Reima.
"Keep this for me, I don't wanna mess it up over something like this." Double says, looking straight ahead in the direction of Seraph.
Reima's eyes widen, she thinks about getting up, but the pain in her back won't let her get up.
"Double...what do you plan on doing?"
With a determined stride, Double parted ways with Reima, leaving any potential response hanging in the air, he makes his way over to Seraph. His gaze fixated on her as she stared back amused.
The tension in the air was palpable as Joki, Kazu, Messorem, and Mofina fixed their eyes on Double. He began to give off a Reiki so potent it seemed to be composed of pure anger itself. The atmosphere around him crackled with the force of his emotions, sending ripples of unease through even the six migaka.
"Hey...she can try and leave one of our friends in bad shape, right. So if I was to knock her out, I would be justified, right! Seikatsu!" Double yells, looking Seikatsu in the eyes with a furious expression.
Annoyed, Joki begins to make his way over to Double, but Double quickly makes his way over to Seraph. He throws a punch, but Seraph teleports behind him. Seraph puts her foot on Double's back, slamming him down the same way she slammed Reima.
"Don't you think it's rude to attack a woman...boy?" Seraph says, with a cocky smile on her face.
As Seraph begins to try and laugh at Double, Double's body explodes.
"Did he...self destruct? How pathetic." Seraph remarks, shocked.
The smoke clears, and shock comes across the face of Seraph. Double stands unphased in front of her, and his eye had been blinking white rapidly.
"Aeromotional Confluence!"
Double begins charging up, and launches at Seraph, which quickly makes her go on guard.
"Jyu-oh-sei, Knucklequake!"
Seraph blocks the attack, but a sharp jolt of pain courses through her arm as it begins to show hairline cracks.
"You didn't teleport this time, I guess it's safe to assume you were too damn slow to avoid it!"
With swift agility, Double quickly ducks under and executes a leg sweep, causing Seraph to stumble and lose her balance. Seizing the advantage, Double exploits Seraph's vulnerable position. As Seraph frantically attempts to regain her footing, she meets Double's unwavering gaze, realizing the danger of the situation.
In a display of sheer power, Double charges his reiki, getting ready for a huge strike that makes the air crackle with intensity. Seraph's heart races as she comprehends the magnitude of the impending blow, her instincts pushing her to seek an escape. With determination in her eyes, Seraph focuses on her teleportation ability, aiming to vanish from Double's impending attack.
Yet, before Seraph can complete her teleportation, Double's lightning-fast reflexes come into play. Quickly, Double grabs onto Seraph's arm, causing him to teleport with her. The two combatants find themselves soaring through the sky, a result of Seraph's teleportation attempt.
High above the ground, suspended amidst the clouds, the tension between them is palpable. Seraph's wide eyes meet Double's unyielding stare, and the realization dawns upon her that Double's determination knows no bounds. Despite her best efforts, Seraph's attempt at escape has been thwarted, and she finds herself ensnared in Double's unrelenting grip.
"I've been dealing with Kazu for a while, so I know exactly how to deal with teleportation abilities. You wanna cause problems?! Fine by me!" Double declared, his face contorted with a deranged expression.
"Damn it! Calm down, you lunatic!" Seraph uttered with a fearful undertone in her voice.
"Jyu-oh-sei, Phantom Comet Fist!"
Double lets go of Seraph, rapidly throws punches, emitting shock waves into her stomach. She gets launched into the ground leaving a crater below.
Double descended slowly, he looks at a motionless Seraph with a emotionless gaze. The air was heavy with tension, a palpable aura of shock gripping everyone present. Wide-eyed gazes remained fixed on Double, their expressions a canvas of disbelief and terror, each face etched with the aftermath of the unthinkable.
"Kazu! You had the audacity to ask this woman for a sparring match after she left our friend screaming in pain. Joki...you really didn't even think about defending Reima either. Aren't we supposed to be a group?! Then why am I the only one who had the balls to step forward?" Double bellowed ferociously at Kazu and Joki.
Joki, and Kazu stand in embarrassment at Double's words, but just as Double finished speaking. The five Migaka began surrounding Double. Double stands there, and doesn't move an inch.
"Don't raise your voice as if you have any authority here. You laid your hands on one of our soldiers, which means you have to face the consequences." Ishona says, looking down at Double.
As Ishona finishes speaking, Double looks up at him with a horrifying gaze.
"She decided to put her hands on one of the people we cared for when we came respectfully. I understand your frustration, but she had it coming." Double commented with an attempt at understanding.
"I do not care about your friend, and I do not care about how you feel. That woman could have been killed in that moment...I wouldn't move an inch." Ishona says, keeping the same motionless expression.
As Double hears this, he looks at Ishona with a face full of malice. Ishona stands on guard, but quickly Seikatsu grabs Ishona's arm.
"I think...emotions are really high at the moment. Why don't we call it a day shall we? I'm glad for the most part we all got...somewhat acquainted with each other." Seikatsu utters, trying to keep his composure.
Seikatsu walks towards the exit with a barrier on it, followed by the Migaka, with Seraph being carried by Ishona.
Double stands there, his hands trembling. Joki, and Kazu begin to slowly walk towards Double.
"...Double?" Joki hesitantly calls out to Double.
As Joki calls out towards Double, Double does not look Joki, and keeps his eyes on Ishona, who had still been walking towards the exit.
"Joki...I want to leave this place, and I want to take Reima with me first thing tomorrow." Double says, his voice trembling with distress.
Joki and Kazu stood frozen, their eyes expanding into saucers of astonishment. Double pivoted abruptly, fixing them with a furious expression that radiated intense anger.
"Double...what the hell are you saying? We can't leave just yet, we still have to stay for a while." Joki says, confused.
"No...I mean just me and Reima, you two can stay here and have fun with your new friends. I don't want anything to do with you anymore." Double says this, walking forward keeping the same tremble in his voice.
Double walks away from Joki, and Kazu. Joki begins to try and rush towards Double, but Kazu quickly holds him back with all his force.
"Let him go...Just let him go. For him...he is going through the worst pain imaginable. Joki...even I can say after learning everything that It's hard for me to be onboard with all this madness, but I do it because I trust you. Double has witnessed you mess up over and over again, and I'd feel terrible if I didn't tell you the truth. We know you're hiding something...so if you truly want him to stay...tell us the truth damn it!" Kazu says, continuing to hold back Joki.
Joki's face turned into a horrified expression as he stared at Kazu, his eyes wide with shock. With a sudden burst of determination, he wrenched himself free from Kazu's grip, his heart racing with a mixture of fear and urgency. Ignoring the adrenaline coursing through his veins, he quickened his pace until he caught up with Double, his footsteps echoing in the tense silence.
He reached out, his fingers curling around Double's arm, and gently turned him around. As their eyes locked, a whirlwind of emotions churned within Joki. His lips parted, as if to speak, but no words emerged. His courage wavered, the weight of unspoken thoughts heavy on his chest. The intensity of the moment hung in the air, the unspoken words between them growing louder with each passing second.
"You can't even gather the courage to say anything to me now...even in my face you still can't tell the truth. Joki...we are finished." Double says this, and puts his hand out.
Double attempted to go through the doorway, only to be confronted by Reima, who stood her ground despite her lingering wounds. Her injuries had yet to fully mend, but her unyielding resolve remained unwavering.
"I never said that I was leaving!" Reima yells, tears flowing from her eyes.
Double stared at Reima, his face a canvas of confusion, brows knitted in a perplexed dance. Across from him, Reima returned the gaze with an unyielding seriousness that struck Double dumb, rendering him utterly speechless.
"Do you not realize...that at any point Joki could have just killed me, and he could have done the same to you and went along with his day. When he saved my life...I was the enemy at the time, I am the daughter of the man who tried to not only take your life, but tried to take Kazu's as well. Yet, he still gave me a chance, and he saved my life! He might be hiding something, but do you truly think he's doing it because he wants too! You can leave Double, and go on your own but i'm not going with you!" Reima continues to scream, her composure unraveling with each word.
Reima storms past Double and goes through the door. Joki follows behind Reima, and goes through the door as well.
Kazu stays and puts his hand on the shoulder of Double who began to tear up.
"You aren't wrong for feeling the way you're feeling Double, but please...let's just get through this, and I have your back okay. We are in this together." As Kazu says this, he walks off in the distance.
