Case of a Robbery
Chapter-18: Clash.
All 4 people reached Police Station.
They all entered inside…
Famous and court noticed.
"Now who are they?" while talking to each other.
Eleena asked, "who are you all?"
All other officers came out from cabin. Some are sitting on their chair.
They did not reply, they are just standing and looking here and there.
Lisa came out from the cabin and asked, "who are you all?"
No reply…
One of them asked, "where is CORTEX?"
"How do you know about CORTEX and who told you?"
…
No reply…
One of them take out phone and send message.
After few seconds, Lisa phone start ringing.
She picks up the call.
She said "OK."
…
Come with me.
Everyone walks with her. They went underground section of Police Station which was fully covered with 6-inch steal walls.
Inside this room.
They went inside and saw CORTEX which was covered with glass box.
They said, "OK."

Another person asked, "where are those 4 robbers?"
Lisa took all of them to another section of underground floor.
"Here they are…." Said by Lisa.
Everyone watched them.
Eleena was looking them very carefully, especially those 4 guests.
They said, "OK."
All came back from ground floor and one of them said, "good job."
They start leaving.
Eleena nagging from behind, "hey!! Why did you come here?"
They do not respond and move on.
She got angry.
Lisa asked, "who are they?"
She replied, "none of your business."
"Why did you show everything around Police Station, what was that?"
"I was ordered by Madam Pronica." Lisa replied.
"I am watching you." Said by Eleena.
She was very angry because now she is second Incharge and other people doesn't care about that.
She went inside Vick cabin and sit on chair but not on main chair.
Next day start.
In hospital Vick has finally opened his eyes.
May was went out for breakfast and there was nurse inside ward. She was checking equipment's.
Vick start opening his eyes…slowly.
Nurse saw this and she ran out to tell Vick has opened his eyes.
His left chest was full of pain.
He starts memorizing what had happened…. He remembered that a bullet was hit him on his left chest.
May entered… she saw that V was trying to stand. She ran and stop him for doing this.
"Don't try to get up…. You are still injured." Said by May.
"Constable… constable…" said by May.
A constable entered, "yes madam."
"Inform Police Station that V has opened his eyes." Ordered by May.
After few minutes, doctor entered.
"Finally, you weak up."
"How are you feeling?"
"Good" answered by Vick.
May phone rang.
She gave that phone to Vick.
"Take this…" said by May.
"Who?" asked by Vick.
"Madam Pronica…" said by May.
After talking to madam. May told him that 4 people came to see you. That time you were unconscious.
Who are they?" Asked by Vick.
"I don't know but one of them was tall, muscular body and another man have average height and fit body."
"2 women were also there."
Explained by May.

"Did you know them?" Asked by May.
"I am hunger… I want food." Said by Vick.
"No… I can't allow you because after operation. Till 3 days patient should not eat heavy food… only light food…"
"Sister… give him light food… little amount."
Said by Doctor.
After this doctor leave and nurse went to take food for him.
Vick said, "May can you change the position of my bed."
She stands up and move a liver. Upper section of bed start moving upper direction.
"Ok… thank you." Said by Vick.
Nurse entered with food.
She set a table and said, "this is your breakfast."
He asked May, "Do you want?"
She smiled and said, "No… I already had."
After having breakfast.
Nurse take all dishes and about to move but Vick stop her.
"What happened Sir?" asked by nurse.
"Who appoint you for me?" asked by Vick.
"Madam Pronica." Answered by nurse.
Then she run away because of fear.
"May…where is that bullet…which hits me?" Asked by Vick.
"Lisa has taken with her. For forensic checking." Answered by May.
"Ok..." said by Vick.
May want to say something but could not speak…
Vick notice and asked, "want to say something?"
She shakes her head…. NO…
But Vick want to asked… "till now what was happened?"
"Tell me."
Aa… when you were shoot down and we brought you here… all media start showing you as breaking news.
"Headings were, "Officer Vick was shoot down."
"Due to which headquarter appoint another Incharge…. Instead of you.
Lisa was dealing with her right now in Police Station."
"Did you know her name?" Asked by Vick.
"Sorry…don't know." Said by May.
He was talking to May about case… and hospital nurse was looking Vick from window.
"May why they are peeping me from there?" Asked by Vick.
She smiled and said, "they want to have picture with you."
"Picture… why?"
"So that when they go home at night, no body tease them. They will show your picture."
After saying this she laughed out….
Vick was looking at her.
He talks to himself inside, "she laughed just like her."
And small smile occurred in his face.
Time get passed and now it was about evening.
All other injured officer came up and asking his health. Vick also asked their health and condition.
After sometime.
Madam Pronica and Lisa entered.
"I am so happy to see you…. Ok." Said by madam Pronica.
"Thank you… and Lisa how is the case going? Did you interrogate them or not?" Asked by Vick.
"Not yet…" replied by Lisa.

"May told me about new incharge instead of me. what is her name?" Asked by V.
"Eleena." Said by Pronica.

"Lisa when you meet her tomorrow. Tell her that I want to meet her." Said by Vick.
"Will she meet you?" Asked by Lisa with wonder.
He smiled and said, "she will and have to."
After few minutes talking.
Doctor came inside and said, "ok… everybody please take a leave. ... don't disturbed my patient."
After this.
Lisa and madam Pronica take leave. All other officers who were injured they all went to their respective wards.
Nurse came inside.
"Sir, if you want anything please call me today is my night duty."
She was leaving.
"Wait… what's your name?"
"Amani."
"And Morning time nurse name?"
"Candus."
"Thank you." Said by Vick.
And she leaves.
Now it was night.
He was looking out from window. Stars were shining on the sky.
Sound of owl start appearing.
May came inside ward and said, "do not want to sleep tonight?"
"No… I am not feeling sleepy…. Where you will sleep?"
She points towards sofa, "Over here…"
Vick asked, "why don't you go home, your parents were missing you?"
She gives a sad smile, "Good night."
And she slept on sofa.
He noticed her sadness behind smile but did not say anything.
Now it was mid dark night.
Moon and stars were shining on the sky. Chilled cold air was flowing outside.
From window that chilled cold air coming inside. Curtains were flowing by the air.
Vick noticed that night shift nurse was sitting outside his ward.
Here back was towards window.
Her body language showing fear.
Vick pick up a pen cap and throw it towards window. That nurse looks behind. He gives her sign to come inside.
She came inside, "what are you doing there?"
"Sir…. Whole floor responsibility was on me and now it was mid night and I am Little bit scared." Answered by Amani.
"You scared… and sit outside my ward?" Said by Vick.
"Sorry … Sir... I thought it will be safe." She replied in nervous. "I will go."
She was going.
Vick said, "keep open the door and if you feel safe then stay her, if you want."
She gets happy and sit on the side chair.
Sun rises and a new day starts.
Eleena was standing front of Vick.
May was sitting on sofa with Lisa.
Vick asked, "How are you... Eleena?"
She replied, "better than you?"
She was very angry.
"Why did you call me?"
"for giving you all my files." Said by Vick.
Everyone shocks.
Eleena was also shocked, "What did you just said?"
"Yes, you heard true, I am giving you my post." Said by Vick.
He smiled and give order to Lisa that now onwards she will be second Incharge of the Police Station.
Lisa argued but Vick had taken his decision. Eleena was very happy and she said, "at least you realized what am I."
She went happily from there.
All officers were in shock. Lisa argued, "what is this?... Did you know what you have done?"
"Yes, I know what I have done." Said by Vick. "Go you have to communicate with her."
…
Everyone leave except May because she was ordered by Madam Pronica to take care of him.
Vick was talking to himself… "Eleena when will you learn… there is no need to fight with me."
…
May was going down. "did you want something to eat or drink?"
"…NO." he replied.
In Police Station.
"Lisa, order from headquarter that we have to take CORTEX from here to headquarter with full security." Said by Eleena.
"Ok let's go."
German went close to Kiara and said, "Madam who is she… even Big Sir given her his post."
"Keep quite." Said by Kiara. "otherwise she will throw you out from here."
They all took CORTEX in full security from Police Station to headquarter.
