Despite the doubts that Maria's father had planted in Maria, she still didn't back out of the wedding. Maria proceeded with her days as if what-ifs weren't existing in her mind. Maria just moved forward no matter how much her father tried to convince her to ditch that wedding. Michael didn't give up after that conversation. He still tried to convince Maria but never succeeded. Maria had never got the guts to do what her father was wishing for her to do or at least to admit to the prince that her father was against the wedding. And now, the day has finally come.
Today was her wedding with the prince. She wasn't nervous or excited. She felt like this day was just an ordinary day for her. She couldn't feel anything aside from the strange emptiness that she was feeling within her heart. Even though she had doubts and what-ifs, she was still determined to marry the prince.
