"Father? What are you doing here?" Maria asked when she had finally stepped out of the castle to see her father.
Maria's father immediately wrapped his daughter in a hug upon seeing her and Maria gladly returned it.
"I'm sorry, I know I can't come here when I want to. But I really want to see you, so I looked everywhere for this place." Michael said after pulling away from the hug.
Maria's heart melted at her father's statement. She immediately regretted speaking in such a cold manner when she first saw her father.
"I understand, father. I'm sorry. I swear to visit you more often, but you shouldn't do this again. You shouldn't just casually visit me here. It was dangerous. You are aware of the situation in the kingdom, so please don't do reckless things again."
