"Thank you so much for treating me kindly and letting me stay the night." Maria uttered, smiling kindly as she bowed her head.
"It was nothing, Maria. Take care on your way home, okay?" Alicia uttered, patting her shoulders.
Maria just nodded her head and smiled at everyone. She was about to hop onto her horse when Alice stopped her, by holding her arm.
"Maria, you will visit us again, right?" Alice uttered, hoping for Maria's answer to be yes. She wasn't the only one who was hoping. Everyone was hoping and praying that Maria would say yes. They were hoping not for themselves but Alaia. Alaia gritted her teeth while waiting for Maria's answer. She was extremely nervous right now. She doesn't want this to be the last time that she will see Maria. She wanted to hear from Maria's own lips that she would come back again, that would surely give her hope again.
