Jerry's veins on his head were so close to popping out. His grip on the longbow that he was holding was so tight that his knuckles were already turning white. His hands were twitching in want. He wanted so badly to let go of the string and let the arrow fly towards the beast, but he couldn't do that. He couldn't let go of the arrow and the string because he was afraid that, instead of the beast, the prince was the one who would get hurt. Alaia can use the prince as a hostage.
