"B-But-" Maria resisted, slowly shaking her head to express her disapproval. There's no way she can do that. There's no way it would be possible for Maria to do that. Forgetting Alaia is like forgetting her will to live. That woman wasn't just a friend to her. She doesn't just like her. She loves her. Alaia was literally her world.
"I can't-" The prince cut off Maria's statement by putting his index finger on the girl's lips while shaking his head. He stood up, looking down at the teenage girl.
"You still don't understand it, don't you Maria?"
"Understand what?"
The young man heaved an exasperated sigh and put his hands on his waist.
"You don't have any choice but to forget her because she will soon die too."
