Maria heard her name being called by one person but with different tones. There were playful, sweet, normal, angry, sad, and distressed tones. Images flooded her mind. An image of her laughing, smiling sweetly, flashing a naughty expression, crying and even an image of her in someone else's arms dying. Then Maria finally realized that the person who had called her name in different tones was the same person that she had been hearing for months, begging her not to leave her alone.
