Leo smiled sadly as he looked down at his feet, becoming sad for Alaia because of the conversations that he was hearing from the people around them. The people around them were talking about how good Maria and the prince looked together. They were complimenting Maria and already expressing how excited they were about the child that would be born in Maria's womb, even though the two were just about to get married. Leo was grateful that Alaia wasn't with them, that she didn't come with them because she would surely get hurt if she heard these people. She would surely break down again. Leo wasn't the only one who was becoming bothered by the conversations. All of his friends, especially the girls, were experiencing the same thing. They were all frowning and had their eyebrows scrunched up, as they looked at each other, obviously not pleased with everything. The girls were mumbling some things to each other, surely they were just contradicting what these people were saying.
