"W-What do you mean, Your Highness?" Leo asked, blinking his eyes rapidly and mouth slightly hanging.
"Just as you thought about what my statements mean."
Leo just stared at Alaia, clueless. He wasn't really clueless about what Alaia said, it's just that he refused to accept that what he was thinking was right.
Alaia heaved a sigh.
"We won't do anything to stop that wedding. We will just let it happen." Alaia replied, slowly blinking her eyes. Her lips were forming a straight line. Her brows weren't furrowed. She looks really serious. She looks like she meant what she said. She looks like the thought of Maria marrying someone else isn't bothering her at least an inch. She looks like she doesn't care about it. She looked like she had already given up and had decided to just let Maria be with someone else.
