Xavier didn't want to do anything that would cause her pain or put himself in a position that wasn't good at all. He needed to be careful now because a baby, his child, was also in the picture.
Xavier smiled broadly and picked it up. He hears gushes from her as she thanks him for the dress. He knew she was going to do this but still, he was surprised at how enthusiastic she sounded. This just told him that she actually appreciated the gift and within him, he planned to give her more gifts as the day went by.
''Hey baby, I see you like your new dress.'' he smiled.
''Xavier, I not only like it, I love it. Thank you so much.'' Althea gushed.
She had always been a sucker for pretty dresses and anytime anyone gifted her one, she never failed to show her appreciation no matter who it was.
