''How did it go?'' Paulo asked as soon as he walked into the room.
Kara sighed, walking towards the bar to fetch herself a drink. There were many things that she wanted to tell him but all that was in her mind at that moment was the anger that was burning within her. She felt insulted, felt weak and above all felt a burning anger within her.
She had never been insulted this much in her life before. There were many things she had faced in her life but not this much insult from her greatest enemy.
''Reed insulted me.'' Kara said.
If Paulo was surprised about this, he hid it from his face. Kara knew he was angry, livid instead but like the man he was, he kept his cool and waited for her to say what she had in her mind.
''What did he say?'' Paulo asked.
Kara poured herself a drink, sipping slowly as she made her way towards the large couch. She took another sip, looking at nothing in particular.
