The day of the ball arrived without any fanfare. That morning, Kara was unusually quiet. The main reason was due to the fact that she wanted to align all of her plans in a more understandable manner. She hadn't told Paulo this yet but her plans were mainly scattered. Fine, she had the understanding of what she wanted to do but at other times, she was really confused about what she wanted to do.
Kara, still in her night robe, made her way towards the window, looking out of it. This whole group was here's to rule and command and still, she couldn't quite believe that it was her's to rule.
''How did you do all of this father?'' Kara murmured.
Just then, there was a knock on her door and she knew that it had to be Paulo. There was no other person that dared come to her room that morning. It was either him or any of the guards.
''Kara.'' Paulo called out.
''Hold on.'' Kara said.
